Remarkable People Deserve a Remarkable Program.

This March, Chabad of Broomfield is proud to partner with Chabad of Aspen to help bring injured Israeli IDF veterans to Aspen for a week of adaptive skiing, healing, and renewal — and to welcome them into our community as part of their Colorado journey.

What Is Golshim L’Chaim – Ski to Live?

Golshim L’Chaim – Ski to Live is a life-changing program that brings injured Israeli IDF veterans to Aspen for a week of adaptive skiing, rehabilitation, and renewal.

Many of these soldiers are learning to ski for the first time — some without limbs, some with vision loss, all carrying physical and emotional scars from their service. On the mountain, they rediscover confidence, independence, and joy. Off the mountain, they experience deep connection with the Jewish community that stands behind them.

This year’s program includes veterans injured in the aftermath of October 7, making this visit especially meaningful.
